Feel free to browse this website to get a first impression of me and my work. If you like, feel free to contact me on any of the networks or directly by mail.
My past work experience.
Since I started working in the IT industry around 2000, I have always had a strong sales orientation together with my deep technical knowledge.
Projects included large full scope IT outsourcing requests in various industries (pharma, banking, retail, logistics) with annual contract values between 5 and 25M Euro.
My personal contribution focused primarily on leading the solution team through the various phases from RfP, Due Diligence to contract signature. This includes both overall responsibility for the solution architecture as well as project and operational cost calculation.
Biggest success: Top Performance Club TEAM 2011 for Solution Design in largest outsourcing deal for T-Systems.
Additional topics:
Marketing price driven cost optimization initiatives and benchmarking of portfolio products as well as deal quality assurance.
Multiple years of IT project management from single service implementations to full IT outsourcing transformations for multi-national corporations.
Project scopes focused on IT infrastructure, primarily end user workplace services (such as OS migration and rollout) and DC backend services (such as Microsoft servers and virtualization).
As the Head of Bid Management (2013-2014), I was responsible for a small team of Bid, Deal and Pricing Managers.
This included project management of sales pursuits, creation of winning proposal documents, the definition of pricing models with the transformation of cost input into price items taking based on multi-year business cases. In addition, Deal Management focuses on steering the core deal team towards a successfull value proposition and sales strategy.
My hobbies form an important part of my person
The foundation of my paramedical activities was in 1994,
when I joined the German Lifeguard, at first focusing on swimming,
later as an instructor and youth leader as well as chief of watch at
the North Sea town Wyk / Föhr.
In 2000, I joined the Red Cross in Böblingen and with multiple stations
such as my civil service at the ambulance service in Sindelfingen and
voluntary jobs like first aid trainer and executive committee member.
Working as a freelance paramedic in Sindelfingen, Germany as well as
Zurich, Switzerland gives me the perfect balance to my office job with
many rewarding experiences, which also help shape decision making and
prioritzation capabilities.
My motto: It's always a good day to save a life.
On land and sea
Sport has always played an important role in my hobbies, from swimming to Winter sports.
I consider myself having a broad range of sportive interests: various kinds of water sports like swimming, diving; cycling; horseback riding; downhill skiing
In recent years, travel across Europe for city trips or to different regions and continents has brought me to many lovely places. Cultural experiences have always been a key element and enriched my view on other nationalities as well as different living styles and habbits.
